Sports scholarships and study in the USA
World Development Sports Group
An agency that guides European athletes to American high schools and universities. A personal adviser from the first meeting to graduation.
World Development Sports Group was founded in 2018 by Milan Vodička, a former ice hockey player and beach volleyball player at New England College and Webber International University. WDSG guides student athletes from all over Europe through admission to American high schools and universities and to sports scholarships. The website speaks English, to families from all over Europe.
01 / Challenge
The American dream, made clear
For most athletes and families, the American high school and university system is a mystery: NCAA, GPA, SAT, visas, scholarship offers. WDSG writes on its website that there are few people who can explain how it works and see it through well.
So the website has to translate a complex process into clear steps and at the same time show that it is backed by people who have walked that path themselves.
02 / Solution
A process in eleven steps
The services are broken down into eleven steps, from the first meeting through academic eligibility, translation of school reports, a profile and video for coaches, all the way to visas and negotiating the scholarship. Alongside that, the website shows the benefits of working together, the team, alumni, university tours, events such as the Pre-Draft Showcase and a questionnaire for new applicants.
